SQL Server Always On AG Configuration – Part3- Join Nodes in Domain:

In this video, we will learn How to join nodes to domain and Enable .Net framework 3.5 & Failover Clustering Features.

There are 2 steps to join nodes in domain:
1) Configure Static IP for Public Network along with Domain Controller IP as DNS server on both nodes:
2) Add nodes in Domain.

Now Enable .Net framework 3.5 & Failover Clustering Features:on node1
Open The Server Manager and Select “Add Roles and Features” option.
On Before You Begin page – do next
In Installation type select default option “Role-based or Feature-based installation and – do next
On Server Selection page “verify Destination server name” and do next
on Server Role page Select Application Server Role and click Next
ON Feature page Select all options under “.NET Framework 3.5 Features” and “Failover Clustering” options and do Add feature.
and click Next
